I'm forever telling people how we should be designing collections more like albums. How we should be offering more world building, more conceptual ideas.
I'll often question mates. When was the last time a fashion drop touched you? What's your favourite collection ever? What garment helped you form your new identity? The answers are usually mediocore.
Now if I asked these same questions but about music or film, we'd have a good conversation. Slowly I'm trying to get closer with fashion to making someone feel like I did listening to Forest Hills Drive or watching Good Will Hunting. The type of art that will redirect your ideas and lifestyle.
By the end of the year I will have displayed that this can be done with clothing.
Coming up in the next month is my biggest conceptual collection to date and I thought let's drop the hit single first. Slowly over the past few months I've put out some images of the footy collection pieces on tiktok to see which was grabbing the most traction.
On Wednesday I'll be dropping the single from the collection. The DIV 1 Training Tee before we drop the full album
