So much has changed over these past years of running Milkbar. I definitely hold the title of having the most inconsistent fit. Because I’ve been so hands on with the process and pattern making, when I look at even a blank garment from over the past 2 years I can see exactly what I was thinking and going through at the time through the fit and design.
Sometimes that has been unclear how much I fiddle with the fit of every new release. I’m always trying to improve from the last release. Now in retrospect I want to take you through the story.
Last week it was time to clean my wardrobe out for the year. A lot of these garments are ones people have been asking me to re release.
Each Garment will come with a letter from me explaining; the cut of the garment, what influenced it and what was happening in my life and the business while I was making it.
Hopefully this offers a peak behind the curtain into a lot of thoughts and stories behind each design.
