Morning All,
Thought I'd give you a bit of an update today on how things are behind the scenes. I know from an outside perspective sometimes it is hard to understand what the day to day of a brand owner of varying sizes actually is. Often I like peeling back the curtain to share with you all and open up a dialogue through email and instagram DM's.
So what's been going on. Since leaving school almost 4 years ago I've worked a lot of odd jobs to make this passion of mine a reality. I've currently upped that to working 4 jobs throughout the week and then whatever small creative gigs I happen to pick up on the side here and there. Some people often wonder or question what it takes and things like this are part of that answer. This is who I am right now and I fight everyday to keep my work and passion alive, I couldn't ask for anything different. It is the highlight of my young life being able to share my work with you all and have it be appreciated.
In terms of releases I'm sure many of you will be excited to know that we are locked in with Carlton and the AFL and we are aiming for a May release next year. I need to remind myself to be excited about this as I can get caught up in the day to day. Working with the AFL was always a 10 year goal of mine and I'm very lucky for it to have come much earlier.
A restock of the Raglan T-shirts and Beata singlets will be coming before end of year. Lucky to have my staple and best selling products be ones that I'm so proud of, I wear them almost daily.
Today I'm actually meeting with a big wholesaler. Being stocked in shops is something I've been considering for over a year now and it is nice to finally have some of it come to fruition. Have a guess at what shop it might be!
Outside of that over the next year I am aiming to do less better, or dial in on quality over quantity. This could literally mean doing just 5 single piece drops for the year. I'm learning so much as every month ticks over and I just want to be able to provide the designs that excite you all the most (and myself).
Would love to hear from you all and catch up, feel free to respond with some life updates on email or direct message. I always enjoy hearing from you all.
Sending love, hope you all enjoy the public holiday tomorrow.
