Pre-Order Information, Please Read Before Purchasing orders Marked 'Pre-Order'
By placing a pre-order with Milkbar Melbourne you agree to the following terms. Please read carefully before completing your purchase.
FREQUENTLY ASKED
When will my order arrive? Pre-orders are estimated to dispatch within 6 to 8 weeks from your order date. Once dispatched you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking details. Delivery times will vary depending on your location and chosen shipping method.
I selected express shipping. Will I get my order sooner? Express shipping applies to transit time after dispatch only. It does not affect your position in the pre-order queue. All orders are dispatched in the order they were received.
Can I cancel my pre-order? You may request a cancellation before your order has been dispatched by emailing us. Once dispatched, cancellations are no longer accepted. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
My order is a gift. Can you guarantee it arrives on time? We cannot guarantee delivery by a specific date. If your order is a gift we strongly recommend placing your order well in advance and factoring in the 6 to 8 week dispatch window plus delivery time. Milkbar Melbourne is not liable for orders that do not arrive by a required date.
I have not received a confirmation email. Please check your spam or junk folder. If you still cannot locate it, contact us with the email address used at checkout and we will resend it.
Can I change my shipping address after ordering? Address changes must be requested immediately by contacting us. We cannot guarantee changes can be made once an order is processing. Milkbar Melbourne is not responsible for orders delivered to an address that was entered incorrectly at checkout.
What if my order is delayed beyond 8 weeks? If your order has not been dispatched beyond the estimated window please contact our team and we will provide you with an update. We appreciate your patience and will always communicate any significant delays as soon as we are aware of them.
Can you send part of my order early? Yes. We understand that you sometimes need items in time for certain events. While we can't deliver the jacket earlier, if your order includes another item you'd like to receive sooner, send us an email and we can allow for partial shipment.
Will my size sell out? Possibly. Preordering is the best way to secure your preferred size before the collection arrives.
Will I be charged Straight Away? Yes. Payment is taken at the time you place your preorder to reserve your item.
Can I exchange my Pre-Order Items? Yes. Once your preorder has been delivered, it is covered by our standard returns policy.
PRE-ORDER POLICY
Dispatch Timeframe
Shipping on all pre-orders is expected to commence within 6 to 8 weeks from the date your order is placed. This is an estimate only and is not a guaranteed dispatch date. Milkbar Melbourne reserves the right to adjust this timeframe in response to production or logistics circumstances outside of our control.
Delays Due to Demand
Due to the high volume of pre-orders we receive, dispatch and shipping times may be subject to delays beyond the estimated window. By placing a pre-order you acknowledge that delays may occur and agree not to hold Milkbar Melbourne liable for any inconvenience caused as a result.
Shipping Costs Are Non-Refundable
Shipping fees paid at checkout are non-refundable under any circumstance, including in the event of a dispatch or delivery delay. This applies to all shipping methods including express and standard.
Express Shipping Does Not Guarantee Earlier Dispatch
Selecting express shipping at checkout applies to the transit time once your order has been dispatched. It does not move your order ahead in the pre-order queue. All pre-orders are fulfilled in the order they are received regardless of the shipping method selected. Milkbar Melbourne will not issue refunds on express shipping fees where the customer was unaware of this condition.
Time-Sensitive Orders
Milkbar Melbourne is not responsible for pre-orders that do not arrive in time for a specific date, event, or occasion such as a birthday, anniversary, or gift. We strongly advise against placing a pre-order if your purchase is time-sensitive. Refunds will not be issued on the basis that an order did not arrive in time for a specific occasion.
Order Cancellations and Refunds
Pre-orders are processed and reserved at the time of purchase. Cancellations may be requested prior to dispatch by contacting our team directly. Once an order has been dispatched it is no longer eligible for cancellation. Refunds on cancelled pre-orders will be issued to the original payment method, minus any applicable shipping fees which remain non-refundable.
We CAN now Split Orders
If your order contains multiple items, send us an email, and we can organise for your order to be split, so that items that are available are shipped to you immediately.
Stock Availability
Pre-orders are subject to stock availability. In the rare event that we are unable to fulfil your order due to unforeseen stock issues, we will contact you directly and issue a full refund to your original payment method.
Changes to Your Order
If you need to make a change to your order such as updating your shipping address, colour, or size, please contact us as soon as possible. Changes can only be made prior to dispatch and cannot be guaranteed. Address changes are time-sensitive and Milkbar Melbourne accepts no responsibility for orders delivered to an incorrect address where the customer failed to notify us in time.
