As Fleece trends veer more Fitted again I reckon it's important to remember to choose the fit that's right for your body. When starting Milkbar I had already known that Oversized pieces that were on trend at the time didn't exactly suit my frame, often makin me look even more overweight then I already was at the time. But I wore em anyway.
In the past year or so while slowly designing my Fitted T-Shirt and Fleece that's yet to come I've felt a lot more confident and presentable in pieces that suit my body, something I missed while getting deep into baggy silhouettes .
Trends are a great opportunity to be introduced to a new look or a new garment you may have not thought of wearing in the past but also not a be all and end all. I reckon it says a lot about an individual when they let a trend past by while they confidently continue to wear what they believe suits them. A phase I see a lot of people going into in their 30s, a deeper understanding of their own body and and identity.
