How Do I start a Return?
Visit our Returns Portal. You don't need to contact us first unless your item is faulty.
Can I get a Refund?
Only in specific circumstances. If you are an EU customer (see eligible countries listed above) and request your return within 14 days of delivery, you are entitled to a refund to your original payment method or if your item has been approved as Faulty/Damaged by our Team. If you are in Australia, the US, or anywhere else in the world, change of mind returns are not eligible for a refund under any circumstances unless otherwise discussed with our team. You will receive store credit or an exchange instead.
What is a Change of Mind Return?
A change of mind return is any return where the item arrived as described and in good condition, but you no longer want it. This includes but is not limited to:
- Ordering the wrong size
- The colour, fit, or style not being what you expected
- Simply changing your mind about the purchase
- Finding a similar item elsewhere
- Receiving it as a gift and wanting something different
If your reason for returning isn't a fault with the item, it's a change of mind return.
What if my item is faulty?
Email customerservice@milkbarmelbourne.com with your order number and photos before starting a return. Do not submit a Loop return for faulty items, contact us directly first. If the fault is confirmed, we'll offer a replacement, repair, or refund. Note that minor variations in colour, size, or natural fabric characteristics are not considered faults.
Who pays for return shipping?
You do, in all cases except confirmed faulty items. This applies worldwide. Milkbar will cover the cost of sending an exchange back to you. For now, this is our Policy, we're working on making our Returns Smoother for customers moving forward, till then- we ask that customers cover the return cost, and we'll cover the cost of sending items back your way!
Does express postage speed up my return?
No. Returns are processed in the order they are received regardless of how they were sent. We recommend a standard tracked service. Any pre-paid postage bags found inside returned parcels will be disposed of.
How long do I have to return something?
30 days from the date of delivery, for all regions. EU customers have 14 days from delivery to request a refund to their original payment method.
Can I drop off my return to your warehouse?
No. Our warehouse does not accept drop-offs. All returns must be posted to: Future Fulfilment, 4 Transit Drive, Campbellfield VIC 3061, Australia.
I needed my order for a specific date and it didn't arrive in time, Can I get a Refund?
Only if a specific delivery date was agreed to in writing with one of our human agents before purchase. Verbal agreements, or any agreement made with Chich our AI assistant, are not valid for this purpose.
