RETURN OPTIONS
1. EXCHANGE (For Another Item, Size, Colour ETC) OR
2. STORE CREDIT (You can 'Re-Purchase' with Free Shipping in Future)
Exchanges
If your requested size or product is available, your exchange will be processed once your return has been received and approved.
Milkbar will cover the cost of sending your exchange back to you.
Store Credit
Eligible returns may be exchanged for Store Credit.
Store Credit is issued electronically and can be used towards any future purchase on our website.
REFUNDS
Australia, United States & Rest of World
Refunds are not available for change of mind returns, including when items are Out Of Stock*
Eligible change of mind returns will receive either:
- An Exchange;
- A Waited Exchange (where applicable); or
- Store Credit.
European Union Customers
Customers located in eligible European Union countries may be entitled to a refund to their original payment method where required by applicable consumer law, provided their return request is submitted within the applicable statutory timeframe.
*Unless the Item is Discontinued, then exceptions are made.
CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS
A change of mind return includes, but is not limited to:
- Ordering the incorrect size.
- The fit, colour or style not meeting your expectations.
- Accidental purchases.
- Deciding you no longer want the item.
- Finding an alternative product elsewhere.
- Receiving the item as a gift.
Where an item has been delivered as described and is not faulty, the return will be treated as a change of mind return.
INCORRECT OR FAULTY ITEMS
If you believe your item is faulty, damaged, or you have received the incorrect product, please do not submit a standard return through our Returns Portal.
Instead, contact customerservice@milkbarmelbourne.com with:
- Your Order Number.
- Clear photographs of the issue.
Once assessed, Milkbar will determine whether the item qualifies for a repair, replacement, exchange, store credit or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law and other applicable consumer protection legislation.
Minor variations in colour, fabric texture, sizing, or natural characteristics of materials are not considered faults
RETURN SHIPPING COSTS
Returns are submitted through our Returns Portal, powered by Loop Returns.
Where eligible, customers will be provided with a prepaid Australia Post return shipping label through the Returns Portal.
The cost of the return label is added to your Return via the Handling Fee from your return outcome where applicable and as disclosed during the return process.
Milkbar will cover the cost of shipping approved exchange items back to customers.
Please ensure your return is securely packaged. Milkbar is not responsible for returns lost or damaged before they are received by our warehouse.
RETURN PROCESSING TIMES
Once your return has been delivered to our warehouse, please allow 5–10 business days for inspection and processing.
Return outcomes will only be issued after the returned item has been received and approved.
ORIGINAL SHIPPING CHARGES
Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable.
Duties, taxes and customs charges paid on international orders are non-refundable except where required by law.
WAREHOUSE RETURNS
Returns must be sent using the instructions provided through the Returns Portal.
Our warehouse does not accept customer drop-offs.
RIGHT TO DECLINE RETURNS
Milkbar reserves the right to refuse returns that:
- Fall outside the return period.
- Show signs of wear, washing, alteration, damage or misuse.
- Are returned without original tags where required.
- Do not comply with these Terms & Conditions.
Where a return is declined, the item may be returned to the customer at their expense.
